What is your role at your business?
I’m the Executive Director.
Briefly describe the products that POD Print provides to you.
Thanks to POD Print we are able to increase awareness of domestic violence in our community. Their products allow us to reach potential clients as well as potential donors and supporters. This is vital to the success of our work.
What are some common challenges that you face at your business?
As a small nonprofit, increasing awareness in our community of our work is a challenge. Of course, we always seek additional funding so we can continue to provide shelter as well as lifesaving advocacy for our clients and their children.
Are there any specific printing-related challenges you’ve come
across in your work, and how were they resolved?
Our printing challenges have been finding quality work for a reasonable price. Thankfully, we’ve found POD!
How does POD Print help you achieve your goals?
Not only does POD create gorgeous products, they have great customer service. I know we are a small client, but I feel that we are a priority, and they are available for all of our questions and concerns, no matter how trivial.
What qualities do you look for when choosing a printing company?
We look for a printing company who understands our mission and the importance of helping and supporting the Wichita community, like we’ve found with POD.

I was fortunate to inherit our relationship with POD when I started at our agency. Through this relationship I’ve gotten to know the owners and employees and recognize their dedication to this business and our community and their kind, generous spirits.

Not long enough!
What is your favorite feature of our product and/or service? Why?
As mentioned, I love the quality of the products. The designers are incredibly talented so our products are gorgeous and compelling. And, I love working with everyone at POD.
What would you tell others looking for a printing company?
Whenever people ask me for printing recommendations I direct them to POD because they are kind and easy to work with, the products are wonderful and they make the process easy. We are all busy, and it helps that POD is a partner who is wonderful to work with!

Tell us a little about yourself. What do you like to do outside of work?
I’ve worked in this field on and off for over 20 years. Prior to working at the Crisis Center, I worked as an attorney in Chicago, New York and Washington, DC. Outside of work, I love to hang out with my “boys:” my husband, Mark; my two sons Aden and Ezra; and our very fluffy golden retriever, Frank.
