Tell us a bit about what you do at POD Print.
I am the Special Projects Coordinator, and I do a little of everything. I am the system admin for our order tracking program and our online portals. I coordinate a lot of marketing initiatives. I started in bindery and have worked customer service. Basically, I just do whatever they need me to do!
How long have you been with POD Print?

What memorable project(s) have you been involved with?
Getting our online portals up and running was quite the experience. It’s becoming easier with each new one, but there was definitely a learning curve at first! I live by my to-do lists, and that has saved me a lot of headache there!
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I have two young boys, and I love taking them on adventures to the park or the zoo…anything to encourage their natural curiosity. I enjoy crochet, but I don’t get to do it as often as I’d like. My guilty pleasures include reading, chocolate, wine, and baking.
What is your favorite thing about your job?
It’s something different every day, and I’m always learning new things. I have routine, but I also have novelty.
What’s the one most important piece of printing
advice you have to share?
Find someone you trust and let them help you! There is so much more to a print job that just running it off a printer. We have so much experience, we can really help you make it the best it can be…Even when I have personal projects to produce, I still talk to everyone here to get their input on what specs I should use!
What motivates you to get up and go to work?
I love having a job, and the people I work with are truly amazing. Our owners are great, and I could not imagine a better boss than Traci. I could do almost any work out there and succeed, but enjoying your work environment is invaluable.
When you have 30 minutes of free time, how do you pass the time?
If it’s just 30 min, I’m probably zoning out on Facebook or some other meaningless logic game. Anything to give my brain and body a break!
What chore do you absolutely hate doing?
I dislike cooking (even if I do love baking), but I detest hanging clothes. I’m not sure what it is, but I would rather fold everything than hang it!
What would you say is your best quality?
I’m genuine. I don’t like drama or playing games, and I do like helping people. What you see is what you get with me.
What would you most like to tell yourself at age 13?
Life is hard and definitely not fair, but you are so much stronger than you think. Stop lying to yourself and embrace yourself, and the rest will fall in place.
