When Should I Order Printed Items for my Wedding?
You have so much to plan for your wedding, and checklists can help ensure you have everything on time. Here’s a good one for all your printed items!
6-7 months before wedding:
Order save-the-dates
5-6 months before wedding:
Send save-the-dates
3 months before wedding:
Order invitations, RSVP cards, and any direction or reception cards that will be included with the invitation
8-10 weeks before wedding:
Send invitations
4 weeks before wedding:
Order the following:
- Favors that include printing, such as water bottle labels or stickers for gift bags
- Programs
- Reception table pieces, like place cards, charger cards, and menus
- Signage and photos for the ceremony and reception
- Floor graphics for the dance floor
- Thank-you cards, especially if pre-printing addresses on the envelopes
