Tell us a bit about what you do at POD Print.
My title says Estimating and Customer Service but I also order paper and supplies and perform many other office duties like invoicing. I like to think with 40 years of printing experience, I’m kind of handy to have around.
How long have you been with POD Print?
17 years
What memorable project(s) have you been involved with?
Too many to mention but some of the larger print campaigns for non-profits come to mind. I also work with high schools and colleges and universities on various projects.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Cooking, taking walks with my wife of 32 years and sports. Reading is also on that list.
What is your favorite thing about your job?
Seeing the faces of people who are holding books they have worked on for many months or years for the first time.
What’s the one most important piece of printing
advice you have to share?
Printing is highly detail oriented. Find someone (like us) who pays attention to detail throughout the entire project. Catching traps and issues prior to printing is very valuable. Cheapest is not always least expensive.
What motivates you to get up and go to work?
Taking pride in what I do. Liking my coworkers is also an added bonus.
When you have 30 minutes of free time, how do you pass the time?
Read news articles. National news articles mostly. Local news, not so much.
If you could meet anyone, alive or dead, who would it be?
Ronald Reagan because he wore many hats. Hollywood, Governor, President.
What would you say is your best quality?

What would you most like to tell yourself at age 13?
Get a haircut. (Remember, it was the 70s!)
